After we left Fatima, we visited a old monestary at Batalha and a little later stopped to eat lunch.
Rita & Florintino, our driver enjoyed their lunch and posed for us before we headed for Coimbra.
This is the front door of the church that was once part of monestary. Unfortunately, it was locked.
The whole group, NC, Va, and Sasketchiwan posed after lunch tht day. It was a good lunch nd a mello group.
The monestary church at Balelha. The monestary part has not been used in 150 years, but the church is used as a church. At least one king of Portugal is buried there, but the back of the church, and burial for another king was never finished.
