Just walking thru the rest of Coimbra, heading for out hotel.
Here Rita and Maria, our guide, were dancing on the edge of the fountain. I missed all the action, but not the laughter afterwards.
Inside the church at the bottom of the hill was a fine old organ that looks almost the same as the organ in the University of Coimbra chapel.
This is the entrance of the church at the bottom of the hill where the university is.
This is a door on an old mosque that was later turned into a Romanesque church. The carvings around the door are the ones that were there for the mosque. Therefore, there are only designs, not saints, or people. this church was also a basilica to protect the people from attack.
