Before arriving in Salamanca on a wet afternoon in April we stopped in Cuidad Rodrigo for a look.
On my walk I found these 2 interesting doors. I needed more time to explore, but Salamonca beckened.
This is an ornate cross in the churchyard. It did not seem to be on a grave, but was pretty and interesting.
Cuidad Rodrigo is a medieval walled town with pretty complete walls. It has double walls with a moat in between. This is a photo of the moat.
This is one of the mail city gates thru the wall at Cuidad Rodrigo. We had a nice 45 min stroll in the town, where folks still live.
