We are staying this night and the next on Coimbra, so when we got to town, we took and bus, and a walking tour to get acquainted.

The mail part of the University, was once the king's palace. Nice house if you can get it.



In the courtyard outside the min gateway arch, the streey has a points of compass design. Very snazzy.



The roof on the main, old part of the university, has very colorful times on it.



We were really going to see the University Library, but to get there, we had to traverse this arch and go across the courtyard. It was lovely.
